The Guardian (Return of the Highlanders Series #1)
The characters didn't really move me. I almost quit reading in the beginning but it finally picked up. The story was interesting enough but sometimes they talked and interacted like they were in another time period which became distracting. I think the author could have developed Sileas and Ian better. I didn't see much growth.
